NAPO in the Schools
Kids are like sponges! They absorb everything in their surroundings! Being introduced to simple organization skills early on increases the likelihood that a child will be organized throughout his/her school years.
The concept of the elementary school program, NAPO in the Schools is to help a child manage "stuff." A disorganized character, Drake or Hazel, is introduced to the students in an interactive way that illustrates how being disorganized affects the character's life. The students find ways to get Drake/Hazel organized and see how being organized helps him/her. Students next participate in a hands-on organizing exercise that teaches basic organizing principles and the concept of sorting.
This is a fun way for children to learn early on basic organizing principles and the benefits of being organized.
Contact Saundra at Organized Wright to set up a time to give this interactive program to your child/ren's school class, Girl Scout, cub troop or other children's network group!
